NATURAL LIGHTING WITH SEAMLESS SPACES
This north Bengaluru home of retired Air Vice Marshal Mathew George and Susan has sky-lights that are positioned in a way that diffuses light all over the interiors of the house and does not focus only on the living areas. Designed by architects Lakshmi Narasimhan and Ravindra S K on a plot oddly sized at 100×45 feet, it has a built-up area of 4,000 sqft and has been constructed keeping in mind the needs of its residents.
For their frequent social get-togethers, the house has expansive living spaces. The dramatic roof gives this home dynamism of form. This roof starts to curve from the highest point of the foyer all the way down into the garden. The opening in the curve frames the doorway to the garden.
